MyLAB Box makes it possible to collect your samples at home and mail them to a laboratory for processing. At-home testing eliminates the need to travel to a medical office, sit in a crowded waiting room, and provide multiple tubes of blood just to find out if you have any health conditions you should know about.
You don’t need to get a prescription from your own doctor to order a test from myLAB Box. All you need to do is visit the myLAB Box website and order the tests you need. If your state requires physician authorization for lab testing, a member of the myLAB Box medical team can provide this for you.
MyLAB Box charges a flat fee for each test. The company doesn’t accept health insurance, but you can use funds from an HSA or FSA to pay for your order. Even without insurance, the fees charged by myLAB Box are about half of what you would pay for testing through a traditional laboratory.
If you’re concerned about accuracy, you can rest easy knowing that myLAB Box uses only the best lab facilities to process samples. Every partner laboratory is CLIA-certified and accredited by the College of American Pathologists, ensuring they follow stringent quality-control procedures. The tests performed by myLAB Box are the same tests used by your doctor’s office or local laboratory.
When you order tests from myLAB Box, the results are reviewed by a physician before they’re released to you. If any of your tests show a positive result, you’ll receive a free telemedicine consultation to discuss treatment options and the next steps. If an STD test is positive, a myLAB Box physician may even be able to send a prescription to your local pharmacy.
“It was simple to do and I returned it the same day. I had the results within 24 hours. Their communication is terrific and their rep was extremely helpful.”
“I read a lot of reviews about this product and was so happy I chose this! The box came super fast, the directions were easy and straightforward.”
“Very responsive and resolved my issues quickly. I will do business with them again!”
“I ordered 2 kits, one for myself and husband. While I received my results, he never did.”
“I received the kit without the blood slip, so totally worthless. The specimen collection kit is a sealed, prepackaged box so clearly they have processing issues.
“I purchased a basic test and they sent me the wrong gender test. I emailed them and they said they would send a replacement yet never did. I have emailed them multiple times over the last few months and have received no help.”
MyLAB Box offers convenient home testing to give you greater privacy and better control over your health. Once you return your samples, you can expect to receive results within one to five days. If one of your tests is positive, you’ll also have the opportunity to discuss your options with a physician. MyLAB Box has more than 40 tests available, and the company is registered with both the FDA and the CDC; however, myLAB Box tests aren’t available to customers outside the United States.
